What is the Ram 1500 Rebel X?

The 2025 model year ushers in a new generation for the Ram 1500 lineup and introduces an entirely new engine, called Hurricane. The new Hurricane engine consists of a three-liter inline six-cylinder engine accompanied by a pair of twin-scroll, low-inertia turbochargers. The new twin-turbo Hurricane engine offers better fuel efficiency than the larger V8 engines while simultaneously providing more power than naturally aspirated V8 engines and other boosted six-cylinder engines. The Rebel and Rebel X come with the standard-output variant of the Hurricane engine, which lays down an impressive 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. This replaces the 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque provided by the outgoing 5.7L HEMI V8 engine. Like the traditional Rebel trim, the all-new Rebel X comes standard with 4x4, a softer rear stabilizer bar, Bilstein shock absorbers, 33-inch all-terrain tires, a one-inch factory lift, and steering calibration that accommodates the Rebel's increased ride height. The Rebel also features enhanced breakover, approach, and departure angles. Exclusive to the all-new Rebel X is Ram's new Rough Road Cruise Control. This system gives drivers the ability to set a low cruise control speed while crawling on rugged trails. Using a network of sensors, the system reads the road ahead hundreds of times per second and will adjust the steering and suspension to best handle the upcoming terrain. Plus, with the truck maintaining the speed, the driver can focus solely on maneuvering the trail.

Commemorating the Rebel's ten years of production, the all-new Rebel X recieves exclusive design elements both inside and out while building on the Rebel's standard features. The Rebel X still wears an aggressive face with a unique black grille with big, bold Ram lettering and the enlarged front fascia that the 2025 Ram 1500 introduces. The Rebel X features a new powder-coated steel front bumper leading to an attached powder-coated high-strength steel skid plate for underbody protection. The new bumper also features newly standard integrated LED fog lights and two functional tow hooks. Meanwhile, the Mopar sport performance hood is adorned with dual heat extractors for both optimal engine cooling and an aggressive appearance. The Rebel X also gains a new power tailgate, which allows you to release the tailgate at the push of a button. The Rebel X also comes with the exclusive option of a new Mojave Sand paint color complimented by exclusive 'Rebel X' badging and vinyl decals. 

Stepping inside the all-new Rebel X, you'll find a cabin with a design that is as unique as the exterior. The Rebel X features a red-on-black appearance with a black dashboard and black leather seating. Meanwhile, the dashboard and center console are adorned with Graystone accent stitching, while the seats feature red accent stitching. The black center console of the Rebel X features a red 'Rebel X' plaque adorned with '2015' and '2025' nodding at its ten years of production. The Rebel X also comes with aluminum paddle shifters, a console-mounted performance shifter replacing the traditional rotary dial, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Rebel X also gains the Level 2 Equipment Group, featuring a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, heated front and rear outboard seats, dual wireless charging pads, a new largest-in-class 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio.
