The Compass lineup gets underway with the Sport trim. Looking at the Compass Sport from the outside, your eyes will be caught by the striking black grille with chrome accents, LED headlights and taillights, black side mirror housings with heated/power-adjustable side mirrors, and 17-inch Fine Silver painted alloy wheels. Upon entry, you'll experience a meticulously crafted blend of timeless Jeep features with an array of modern amenities. The cabin features plush cloth upholstery, a largest-in-class standard touchscreen spanning 10.1 inches, Uconnect 5 infotainment software, a 7-inch digital driver information display, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Compass Sport also features advanced safety technologies including newly standard drowsy driver detection, active lane management, forward collision warning, blindspot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic warning.

Stepping up to the Compass Latitude, you'll find upgraded features on both the exterior and interior. Outside, you'll notice steering-responsive LED fog lights are added to the front fascia's lower section, Keyless Enter n' Go passive entry, and automatic high-beam headlights. The interior features cloth/vinyl upholstery and a leather-wrapped shift knob. Meanwhile, the Latitude is eligible for Jeep's Cold Weather Group, adding a windshield wiper de-icer, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and remote engine start. Meanwhile, eight-way power-adjustable front seats are also options.

The Compass Limited stands out among the other trims with an eye-catching two-tone appearance from a Gloss Black roof. However, that is just the beginning of the Limited trim's upgrades. The exterior also gains a Gloss Black insert with chrome grille rings, side mirror-integrated turn signals, rain-sensing wipers, and diamond-cut 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, you'll enjoy the aforementioned Cold Weather Group as standard equipment, along with dual-zone automatic climate control, leather-trimmed upholstery, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The safety suite is also upgraded for the Compass Limited, with adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go added to the extensive list of driver aids.

Sitting at the top of the 2024 Jeep Compass lineup is the only Compass model to earn Jeep's Trail Rated badge: the Trailhawk. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk's off-road capability begins with the 4x4 system. While Active Drive is standard for the rest of the lineup, the Trailhawk comes exclusively with Active Drive Low. While still using a power transfer unit and a disconnecting rear axle, Active Drive Low adds a two-speed transfer case, providing 4-LO mode to provide higher levels of torque at low speeds to crawl over rugged terrain more easily. The Trailhawk also features a Gloss Black roof. However, it separates itself with an anti-glare hood decal with a red stripe with a 'Trailhawk' inscription, all-terrain tires, Gloss Black 17-inch alloy wheels, and red tow hooks. The Trailhawk also features a one-inch lift from the factory, off-road-tuned suspension, and high-strength steel skid plates.
