2019 Jeep Renegade Trims
2019 certainly further ushered in the world of midsize crossovers, but the Renegade has them all beat when it comes to actual off-roading and that it has an exceptional array of welcome features. This is the Jeep with the LED "X" shaped taillights you have found yourself wondering about, and you will be impressed by the Renegade's abilities, not just its definitive style. The Renegade has the opportunity to be All- or Front-Wheel drive, with the exception of the Trailhawk model which is All-Wheel Drive by its own design. Let's get more into what each one has to offer you!Trim Levels and a Special Edition
Sport Model: On the Sport model, there are all manner of
cool items, from a 5" touchscreen for the Uconnect 3 system and steering
wheel-mounted controls for Voice Command to an optional open-air My Sky
dual-pane panoramic sunroof that can both retract and be removed! There is also
Speed Control and audio volume controllable via the steering wheel. A 2.4L
MultiAir inline-4 goes for and gets 180-horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque
and is standard within.
Latitude Model: This one brings in the Uconnect 4 on a 7"
touchscreen with the Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, special 17- or
19-inch aluminum wheel possibilities, and a high-end steering wheel wrap.
Standard issue on this one is the 2.4L MultiAir I-4 as well. The My Sky sunroof
is also possible on this model.
Limited Model: This model has the 1.3L MultiAir Turbo engine
with up to 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque that is new to 2019 as
standard, as well as fresh 19-inch Granite Crystal-painted aluminum wheels, the
My Sky dual-pane panoramic sunroof, leather-wrapped front seats (and heated
too), plus, a Uconnect 4C NAV (8.4" touchscreen). With the nine-speed automatic
transmission, it will also carry Engine Stop/Start Technology.
TrailHawk Model: The Trailhawk model holds the 1.3-liter
engine too, and when correctly equipped, will tow up to 2,000-lbs! Hill Descent
Control gets into the mix on the Trailhawk, as does standard Jeep Active Drive
Low with 8.7" of ground clearance. Almost as a matter of course, the
Trailhawk gets trussed up in skid plates, red front/rear tow hooks, and has up
to 8.1-inches of wheel articulation. Look for an insane 21:1 crawl ratio,
17-inch aluminum wheels with off-road tires, and up to 19" high of water
negotiating! It has its own Rock Mode within the Selec-Terrain Traction
Management System, as well as a newly-furbished LED Lighting Group too. That
Group has ingredients like Bi-functional Projector Headlamps, LED taillights,
foglamps, and LED daylight running lights!
