2018 Jeep Compass Power & Handling

Every 2018 Jeep Compass is powered by the same capable and efficient engine! Under the hood, you will find a Tigershark 2.4-liter inline-4 that produces 175 pound-feet of torque and 180 horsepower. The transmission match for this engine depends on which model you opt for. Sport models pair this engine with a six-speed manual. Higher trim levels outfitted with front-wheel drive gain a six-speed automatic transmission while models outfitted with four-wheel drive gain a nine-speed automatic. The EPA has estimated that this engine can get up to 32 miles per gallon when traveling on the highway. 4WD Compass models can tow up to 2,000 pounds! Plus, there are two four-wheel drive systems available for the Compass! They include Jeep Active Drive Low and the Trailhawk exclusive Jeep Active Drive Low.

2018 Kia Sportage Power & Handling

There are two engine possibilities for the 2018 Sportage. First up is the standard 2.4-liter inline-4 that creates 175 pound-feet of torque and 181 horsepower. The second engine option is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 that produces 260 pound-feet of torque and 240 horsepower. Both of these engine options are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front wheel drive. You can opt for AWD with both engines. The Sportage gets its highest fuel economy with the standard engine, coming in at 30 miles per gallon on the highway. When it comes to towing, the Sportage maxes out at 2,000 pounds.

2018 Jeep Compass Features & Design
