Trim Levels of the 2019 Ram 1500

The 2019 1500's options in body build, powertrains, included features, and extra packages are expertly designed to suit a variety of purposes.  This light-duty pickup truck comes in three cabin styles, three bed lengths, two powertrains, and six released trims. All suit an individual's needs for personal comfort and professional performance.  

Starting with the $31,695 Tradesman, you'll find that the lowest trim of the 1500 series is in of itself a very capable and dependable workhorse, with some nice touches of luxury to enhance convenience and ergonomics.  It comes with the standard 3.6-liter V6 paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission to power through the work day with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The engine's power is this enhanced because it comes with a semi-hybrid eTorque system, lending wider-range variable valve timing and a two-step variable valve lift to improve performance and efficiency for best-in-class V6 horsepower.  The Tradesman rides on 18-inch steel wheels. It offers vinyl flooring and upholstery, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, push button ignition, cruise control, air conditioning, a rearview camera, five-inch touchscreen display and media control center, Bluetooth, and USB/AUX ports. A Class III hitch receiver and trailer sway control is able to tow 7,730 pounds. Available for upgrade, a Class IV hitch receiver, brake control, electronic locking rear differential, and towing mirrors specialize this vehicle for bigger yet easily managed hauls.  

The Big Horn, also called the Lone Star when in Texas, adds basic quality of life enhancements and a load more package options to improve the functionality and comfort the 1500 can give you.  For $35,895, the Big Horn sports beautiful chrome accents on the grille, front and rear bumpers, door handles, and tailgate. The available Sport Package creates an even bolder statement with all body-color elements but for the 18-inch polished aluminum-alloy wheels.  Inside, leather wraps the steering wheel, which also gains hands-free audio, Bluetooth, and cruise control buttons. In cabin storage options also increase thanks to some in floor hidden bins for the rear and passenger seats. The interior also offers touches of trim specific western-inspired color schemes.  Available interior comfort enhancements feature dual-zone climate control, a 8.4-inch touchscreen, cloth upholstery, tinted windows, and a 60/40 split folding rear bench seat.

The Laramie takes a more luxurious approach to the work day, riding with leather upholstery, power adjustable 40/20/40 split bench front seats (heated and ventilated), keyless entry, available 22-inch alloy wheels, and available 12-inch touchscreen--the largest in class!  Accent stitching creates a great contrast against dark upholstery, steering wheel, center console, and door armrests. Centered in the driver information gauge is a seven-inch digital cluster that shows enhanced driving stats, compass, outside temperature, and efficiency stats.  The power of the Laramie is also enhanced with a standard 5.7-liter HEMI V8, supplying 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The eTorque system is available to add on, enhancing the motor's efficiency and providing 130 extra lb-ft of torque. This combination is able to tow a best-in-class 12,750 pounds (11,610 pounds without eTorque).  Options include dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, a 115V rear seat outlet, two rear seat USB inputs, and navigation. The bold Rebel features a bunch of all-terrain specialization to make this truck the most capable navigator of the 1500 line.  It takes a return to the V6 as the standard engine, but the V8 is available for upgrade. 18-inch black painted alloy wheels with 33-inch all-terrain Goodyear tires, front tow hooks, skid plates, fortified shocks and suspension, specially tuned eight-speed automatic transmission, an electric-locking rear axle, and hill descent control come for a starting MSRP of $43,995.  The Class IV trailer hitch receiver with brake control is added for added versatility. Front bucket seats better manage uneven terrain jostles, and they're upholstered in premium waterproof cloth. The interior is, as the name suggests, a step away from the norm. Bold, bright red accents flows around the dashboard, vents, wheel, door paneling, and seat trims. This compliments the Rebel-unique dual-colored red and black paint job that's available only in this trim.  LED headlamps, foglights, and taillights shine brightly into the dark, and the handlebar-'stache grille design creates a Rebel personality all its own.

The Big Horn's touches of western inspired styling take on a whole new level within the $51,490 Longhorn trim.  Real wood accents with actual Longhorn branding the interior's dash, center console, and steering wheel and pair with the soft touch upgraded leather upholstery for an expressive flare of trim-unique backcountry character.  The 20-inch alloy wheels compliment the exterior's chrome side steps, grille, bumpers, mirror housings, front tow hooks, and headlamps. A spray-in bedliner, automatic high beams, automatic wipers, heated and ventilated front bucket seats and rear reclining seats, and navigation system comes standard.

Last is the luxurious minded Limited starting at $54,090 MSRP.  Chrome accents a trim-special corrugated mesh grille design. A power-retractable side step makes for easy and classy entrances and exits.  Inside, the wood accents are stained a cool grey for a slick modernity, and special Limited decals accent the premium leather upholstery, center console, and dash.  A huge 12-inch touchscreen is the main attraction within the cabin space, delivering every function a multimedia display can handling including HD radio, satellite radio, USB and AUX inputs, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, and even Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities with Uconnect apps such as weather, gas prices, and movieticket.com.  An available 900-watt 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system enhances the entertainment even further.
