Under the 300's Hood
The engine power in the 300 can't be beat. All the trims come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. It is rated at 260 pound-feet of torque and 292 horsepower. When the 300S has this engine, the powertrain is upped a little more with 264 pound-feet of torque and 300 horsepower. The engine gets an eight-speed automatic transmission with the option of rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive system is advanced with an exclusive active transfer case and front-axle disconnect system that improves real-world fuel economy. It can transition between all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive without driver intervention. The electric power steering makes precise tuning adjustments from easy handling in low-speed situations to highly responsive steering for spirited driving.
Design of Chrysler 300
There are so many features in the 300. The Limited trim gets all the basic equipment including heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, leather upholstery, heated power front seats, keyless entry and ignition, Bluetooth, 8.4-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The 300S comes with a sport-tuned suspension, LED fog lights, remote start, sport front seats, blackout styling, and a 10-speaker sound system. The 300C includes features like a dual-pane sunroof, an auto-dimming driver-side mirror, a power-adjustable and heated steering wheel, LED cabin lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a power rear window sunshade, an amplifier to the speaker system, and a navigation system. The top of the line trim, 300C Platinum, gets a unique exterior trim, adaptive xenon headlights, heated and cooled front cup holders, a touring-tuned suspension, leather upholstery, an upgraded steering wheel, and a 19-speaker stereo. A lot of the upper trims' features are available on the lower trims through packages or as standalone options.
